API keys and API Ingest for developers
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Bana is developer-open:
API keys with scopes:
Create multiple keys, each with a defined permission scope (read responses only, create forms, etc.) — no integration carries more access than it needs. Keys are instantly revocable and their usage appears in the logs.
REST API:
All responses use the unified { success, data, error } shape — manage forms, fetch responses, and pull analytics programmatically.
API Ingest — offered by no local competitor:
Receive data into Bana forms from your other systems via /api/v1/ingest: push responses from a CRM, a call-center IVR, your own app, or any enterprise system — all your data lands in unified analytics. A Bana form becomes a "data collector," not just a web page.
Example: a satisfaction survey collected from the web, IVR calls, and a mobile app — three channels, one analytics view, with each response's source tagged.
