Common accessibility issues and how to fix them

Last updated: September 12, 2026

These are the most common issues Muneer Scanner finds on Arabic websites, and how to fix them: 1. Weak contrast — keep text-to-background contrast at least 4.5:1 for body text (level AA). 2. Images without alt text — add a brief description to every meaningful image; leave alt empty for decorative ones. 3. Unordered headings — use a logical sequence (h1 then h2 then h3) without skipping levels. 4. Vague links — replace "click here" with text that describes the destination. 5. Unlabeled forms — associate every input with a clear label. 6. Elements unusable by keyboard — ensure every interactive element is reachable with Tab. Fix critical issues first, then re-scan to confirm improvement.
